Earlier today I watched the latest update from Gaza – BBC version.
For some reason, it seems that most of the commentators reporting from Gaza are Irish or of Irish stock! I haven’t worked out the connection there yet.
The BBC transmitted the same genre of pictures – namely those of grieving relatives about to bury their loved ones, and of course to emphasize their ultra left wing bias it’s se children’s funerals they use to stir up anti-Israel sentiment.
A couple of observations:-
- The reporters who work in Gaza always blame Israel for the problem; for them to report more evenhandedly would either result in their own death for siding with the Zionist enemy or being expelled from Gaza to be replaced only by another pro-Palestinian/anti-Israeli reporter.
- The only reason that Israel is bombing Gaza is because Hamas is firing rockets at the Israelis. If the Palestinians forced Hamas to stop attacking Israel, then Israel would have no reason to retaliate.
- The BBC report that despite Hamas authorizing rocket strikes against Israel, no Israelis are being killed. The tone of the reports would suggest that it is Israel’s fault in protecting their population (even if it is at a cost of $100,000 per rocket intercepted), and therefore to balance things up Israel should not respond to the Hamas authorized rocket attacks.
Bizarre! A country that successfully protects its population from terrorist attacks is somehow branded the bad guy. America take note, maybe you should scrap Homeland Security to give the bad guys a chance. Can’t see it happening somehow.
